Books and Toys Drive Returns to Brighten the Holidays at Phoenix Children’s Hospital
Fulton Homes expands valley wide donation sites to reach more families
Celebrating 26 years of giving, the Fulton Homes Books and Toys for Girls and Boys holiday drive returns to bring joy and comfort to young patients at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. This cherished tradition continues Fulton Homes’ commitment to supporting the community, with this year’s effort reaching even more Valley families through new donation bins at four premier Fulton Homes communities:
● Barney Farms (19590 S Barney Farms Pkwy, Queen Creek, AZ 85142)
● Promenade (39812 N. Arcadia Drive, San Tan, AZ 85142)
● Cooley Station (2600 S Betty St, Gilbert, AZ 85295)
● Acclaim (10012 W Avalon Dr, Avondale, AZ 85392)
● Prasada (15657 W Old Oak Ln, Surprise, AZ 85379)
● Escalante (24232 N 162nd Ave, Surprise, AZ 85387)
Donations of new, unwrapped books and toys are welcomed at these locations through December 15, 2024. In addition to the on-site collection bins, donors can also contribute through Phoenix Children's Hospital’s Target’s Community Gift Registry for online options. In-person drop-offs are also available at Phoenix Children’s Rosenberg Medical Plaza (1920 E Cambridge Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85006).
On December 17, all collected gifts from Fulton Homes communities will be delivered to Phoenix Children’s Toyland in the Rosenberg Medical Plaza. This pop-up toy store allows families with hospitalized children to choose gifts free of charge, creating moments of happiness and joy during a difficult holiday season spent away from home.
“It’s the time of year to remember what truly matters,” said Doug Fulton, CEO of Fulton Homes. “This program brings that to life by helping families who need extra support while their children receive care at the hospital. It’s our honor to help make their holiday a little brighter.”
Fulton Homes’ drive supports Phoenix Children’s Child Life Toy Program, providing toys not just for the holidays, but year-round for children undergoing treatment.
“Fulton Homes’ Books and Toys for Girls and Boys has become a heartwarming tradition at Phoenix Children’s,” said Tim Harrison, VP of Corporate Partnerships & Special Events at Phoenix Children’s Foundation. “Every year, our patients and families feel the incredible outpouring of community support and kindness. We are truly grateful to Fulton Homes for sustaining this program and its impact for the past 26 years.”
