Stephen Martin decided to propose to his girlfriend, Christine Peters, on a hot air balloon in Alberta, but things took a turn for the worse when the balloon hit a tree.
After the crash, Martin talked to the pilot and he said that he is used to landed the balloon in half the amount of wind that the balloon took.
CTV News decided to call the Transportation Safety Board to see what they had to say about the event, but they hadn't heard of it. They may investigate once they look at all of the facts.
