Christmas cards – especially personal ones – have fallen out of fashion in recent years. But this year might actually be different.
According to an op-ed in the New York Times, people are not only taking the time to send meaningful, personalized cards this year, but they are addressing the pandemic as a way to connect and commemorate a year that has been filled with uncertainty.
From family photos that include everyone wearing masks, to sentiments of hope, it seems holiday cards will be more meaningful this year -- and might provide a real bright spot for everyone missing their loved ones during the holidays.
