Fresh and zippy aromas of black raspberry combine with wild thyme and wet slate on the nose of this bottling. The palate is broad and pleasant, with rounder strawberry flavors that are enhanced by white pepper and dried herbs, with a slow-rising acidity that washes into the finish.
Accompanying traditional notes of black currant, the nose is brimming with aromas of coffee, chocolate and baking spice. The entry to the palate is very elegant, with supple tannin countering a luxurious weight. The mid-palate is flush with sweet, red fruit flavors framed with hints of oak spice and tobacco.
