A cosmetic doctor is encouraging people to stop using makeup wipes with a video that shows what happens to your skin when you do.
In the video, Dr. Tijon Esho applies foundation to a satsuma orange, uses a wipe to remove it, then reveals that it just pushed the makeup into the fruit’s pores.
He explains that our skin is quite similar and that “the surface of our skin actually has several grooves and bits that we can’t see with the naked eye.”
