This week the dart hit the birthplace of John Wayne. Beth didn’t know that it was the birthplace of John Wayne until she decided to call the John Wayne Birthplace Museum. This is where we meet Beth’s sweetest new friend Ruth. Ruth is busy but she takes time to tell Beth about Winterset and about the Museum. Ruth also makes a connection between Beth’s hometown and John Wayne that Beth never knew.
